A Poetic Double Entendre. The Chinese title of this image, "Ta Shang Gui Tu", contains a poetic pun. The character for "Turtle's Journey" (龜途) sounds exactly like "The Way Home" (歸途).

This play on words captures the profound duality of the moment: for this hatchling, the very first steps of its life are simultaneously a return. It is embarking on a perilous journey as a sea turtle, while instinctively returning to the ocean where it belongs.
