About the Speaker 關於講者

George Kao PhD（高國維博士）是一位以「只要有水，就能拍」為創作信念的台灣水下攝影師。

他的拍攝題材橫跨開闊海域中的大型海洋生物、珊瑚礁與人工魚礁，也深入溪流、生態溝渠與城市邊緣水域，關注那些經常被忽略、卻同樣真實存在的水下生命風景。

除了經典水下攝影題材，他長期投入於**近攝廣角（Close-Focus Wide Angle, CFWA）**、實驗性構圖與跨媒材敘事，並持續挑戰水下影像的表現邊界。

其作品已於國內外賽事中獲得超過 **30 項獎項**與肯定：

- 2025 Underwater Photographer of the Year (UPY) – Highly Commended

- 2024 United Nations World Oceans Day Photo Competition – Silver Medal

- 2022 Ocean Art Underwater Photo Contest – 1st Place, Portrait

- 2022 Ocean Geographic – Emerging Photographer of the Year
